About these terms

These terms apply to the Chiang Mai Community Guide operated by FREE BIRD CHIANGMAI CO., LTD. Reading the guide requires no membership or payment to this site. External booking and purchase services have their own terms.

Check current information

Articles provide reference information for everyday life and travel. Prices, opening hours, rules, transport and events may change. Confirm current information with the provider, organiser or public authority before acting. Machine translations may be incorrect; consult the original and official contact for important decisions.

Emergencies

This site is not an emergency service and does not receive rescue requests or dispatch assistance. Practice features do not send real rescue requests. Follow current official guidance and use the appropriate emergency service. SOS and disaster guidance remains free of advertising.

External services and affiliate links

Accommodation, transport, activities and connectivity bookings or purchases are contracts between the customer and the relevant seller or provider. This site currently accepts no orders or payments for those services. Consult the seller about prices, identity checks, changes, cancellation, refunds and fulfilment. Commission-bearing links are clearly labelled. Referral commissions do not guarantee prices, quality, discounts or outcomes.

Content and rights

Text, photographs, graphics, videos and logos belong to the company or their respective rights holders. Linking, uses permitted by applicable law, and uses permitted by a licence expressly stated for an individual item are allowed. Other reproduction, modification or redistribution requires permission from the rights holder. Where an individual photograph or other item displays its own licence, follow that licence. Report suspected errors or rights concerns with the page URL and relevant passage.

Acceptable use

Do not infringe applicable law or others’ rights, attempt unauthorised access, send malware, disrupt the service through excessive requests, impersonate others or submit false information. Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment-card details or passport images through enquiries.
